Challenge
To produce a creative way of communicating to tenants about planned maintenance work.
Solution
Production of an animated DVD to be delivered to all tenants regarding planned maintenance work and to build a microsite. The DVD is flexible to work across all media formats including print and online. The animated DVD overcomes various audiences’ challenges including those with a disability or educational limitations. The Flash animated characters were used in order to make the information more user-friendly for the occupant and take away some of the intimidation that tenants might feel when having strangers in their home. The DVD was also cost effective as it eliminated the need to use up studio and models time.
