Challenge
To create a website and online wine shop containing 1500 lines. Find 1500 wine images!
Solution
Full e-commerce website with content management system (CMS). We worked with Campbells classifying the wine dept and we photographed all 1500 lines!
Challenge
far'n'beyond have been using an online job tracking and client management system for some time. Although the system had worked on delivery, it had become unbearably slow as the workload and work history grew. This, coupled to the extreme difficulty of updating an obsolete system, rendered it almost unusable.
Any replacement system would have to address the problem of speed, keep the existing features, as well as providing many new features and interface improvements.
Solution
The new system has been re-written from the ground up to be scalable and to maintain it's initial speed, regardless of the amount of work added. The application is written in the latest version of ASP.NET and SQL Server, which provides future proofing, both by the long term support lifecycle of these products and the wealth of support available for these technologies.
Challenge
To create a microsite for the College's Student Handbook with a full content management system (CMS). Embed video and animation.
Solution
Using our own web8 CMS we created a microsite on time an on budget. the animation and video were created in Adobe Flash.
Challenge
To allow takeaways and restaurants that provide a carryout service the ability to advertise and sell their products online. Also, as hot food is being sold, it is essential that orders are processed as fast as possible and feedback is provided to the customer at all stages of their order.
Solution
No off-the-shelf shopping cart system were able to provide the real-time aspects required by the sale of hot food, so a new system was developed.
The system allows customers to place and pay for an order online, and using web2epos technology, full details of that order are displayed immediately at a terminal in the restaurant.
The customer is kept fully up to date with the status of their order using an AJAX partial page update system.
Brief
The client required a method for managing their marketing communications & print spend. There are 3 locations who all need similar products and management controls.
Execution
hpmgroup proposed a central purchasing system that would allow all managers to buy products at pre-agreed prices. The system releases managers to respond to changing markets whilst maintaining central control of both costs and brand management. Hpmdigital storefront is an advanced web-to-print system which provides complete administration management whilst allowing freedom to people on the ground to make the decisions that really matter.
Outcome
The client now has an overhauled purchasing system. Purchasing requirements are being fulfilled, on time, with an ease-of-use factor which wasn’t previously thought possible.
