Richard “the friendly head teacher” Mortimer is the Managing Director of hpmgroup. Richard is directly responsible for finance, non-sales activities and making sure his staff do some work (especially the Directors!).

Chris "Mr Strategy" Vass has joined the board of hpmgroup as a non-executive director of Strategy and Sales. Chris is also involved in the digital development side of the business. Chris brings with him a wealth of knowledge of online media and internet solutions. What Chris doesn’t know about digital & web solutions isn’t worth knowing. This combined with his strong background in retail and strategy development makes Chris an extremely valuable addition to our hpmgroup team.

Best described as the “guy who knows about websites”, Peter Groves currently holds the job title of Digital Media Director. Peter has been instrumental in developing hpmgroup with the introduction of hpmdigital (our new online ordering facility), hpmcampaign (our new email marketing software) and hpmapproach (our new online proofing system).

Best described as the “friendly giant”, our Business Development Director Richard Lister is an hpmgroup “lifer” with over 10 years at the company. As well as being in charge of Business Development, Richard is the Account Director for a number of high profile contracts including Durham University.

Tony Taylor heads up the Marketing Team at hpmgroup and also services a range of clients needs on a daily basis offering marketing advice, strategy and consultation. Tony has particular expertise in the retail environment as well as being a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Valerie Connell is the person responsible for all the finances of hpmgroup from invoicing to investments (as well as that all important petty cash that staff are always pretty keen to get hold of).

"The old/newbie" Lucy has rejoined hpmgroup after a brief stint in the automotive industry. Fortunately for hpmgroup, Lucy has come back to her senses and is now settled in her role as Marketing Manager and ensuring that our clients marketing needs are fulfilled as well as generating awareness about hpmgroup.

Ryan “baby face” Bennison has recently joined hpmgroup after graduating from Northumbria University in Marketing Management. Ryan benefits from eating lots but never putting on weight! Ryan joins hpmgroup in the role of Marketing Executive and will work on generating awareness about hpmgroup through a range of media, as well as offering support to existing clients with regards to their marketing needs.

Best described as “the safe pair of hands” Tom is another hpmgroup “lifer” with nearly 10 years service. Tom’s role is Client Services Manager and manages the day to day activity of the accounts that hpmgroup work on, liaising with all of the client contacts and servicing the account.

Best described as “the well dressed one who eats bran flakes on a daily basis”, Joanne sits within the Client Services team serving a range of accounts internally and ensures that each client’s requirements are met.

John Maughan is responsible for all studio work for clients. John works on several design accounts himself as well as allocating jobs within the studio to his team of 10 studio operators.

Anton is in charge of all creative work that gets distributed to hpmgroup clients. Anton has worked with a range of high calibre clients including Durham University and Middlesbrough Football Club.

Phil "the power" Dunn is responsible for the production and delivery of clients work. Phil is also the line manager for a team of 20 that work on the shop floor within hpmgroup offices.

Anthony "Anth" Bayley is responsible for Total Quality Management within hpmgroup. Anth is in charge of all quality control and processes within the company and has been instrumental in helping the company achieve our accreditations of FSC & PEFC.

John "GOP" Alderson has been with the company for 16 years, heads up the Sales team within hpmgroup and is responsible for a team of three. John holds a range of accounts in various different sectors including PWS, Royal College of General Practitioners and Middlesbrough Football Club.

Best described as "the office favourite" as she regularly supplies the team with chocolates and biscuits on a daily basis, Wendy sits within the Sales team servicing a range of accounts including Sunderland Football Club.

Steve "the silver fox" Lee sits within the Sales team of hpmgroup and has been with the company for nearly 12 years. Steve actually started out as a graphic designer within hpmgroup but is now responsible for a number of accounts in various different sectors.

Steve Donnelly heads up the Estimating Department within hpmgroup. Steve and his team are responsible for all quotes that hpmgroup provide as well as servicing a number of accounts himself including PWS and Tangerine Ltd.

Steve sits within the hpmgroup estimating team where all quotes are carried out for our clients. Steve has been with the company for over 7 years and actually used to work on the factory floor in the finishing department.

Andy sits within the estimating team at hpmgroup assisting in supplying quotes to hpmgroup clients. Andy has been working for hpmgroup for over 10 years and is also our Health & Safety Advisor within the company.
